Thank You, Dorothy Stolba! My brother and his wife have been considering a retirement retreat for months. They met Dorothy Stolba after seeing one of her listings and touring a property with her. Brother and wife are not Internet savvy so they asked me to reach out to Dorothy Stolba, to have listings sent to me.  I spoke to Dorothy for the very first time via phone on Thursday, October 25th and we discussed brother’s “wish list” for their new home, most important on their list was buying a home on 3+ acres in either Amherst, Bedford or Campbell county. Dorothy then set me up with an MLS Portal and I received my first group of MLS listings immediately! Although Dorothy was headed to MD later that evening for a family weekend event, she scheduled a showing of the home for my brother and his wife before she left town. My brother made an offer on the house with Dorothy right after the showing on Friday night. While Dorothy was traveling, she continued to work the deal and negotiated a deal my brother accepted and they had a contract at 10:30 p.m. Friday night within 24 hours after receiving that first batch of MLS listings. They found a home on a Friday, and told Dorothy they wanted to close the next Wednesday. Dorothy got the contract ratified, arranged for a title company, was in touch with the listing agent, and made it happen! The house closed Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11 a.m., 5 days after my initial contact with Dorothy! A fast closing is possible when there’s a cash buyer, a seller with deed in hand, and you have a competent Realtor who is attentive to her client’s needs, makes her client number one and works with other businesses that share her philosophy- the client comes first!

I don’t feel I have to write about how happy we have been with her service or what a wonderful person Dorothy is, I think just sharing our experience above says it all. A lot of people can talk to the talk, but as you can see above, she walks the walk and takes extra steps to meet her customers’ needs.
